A double eyelid crease is created by adhesion among the skin, underlying structures,
and the muscles that open the eyes. For various reasons, these adhesions can weaken,
causing the crease to loosen. During revision surgery, the surgical method is chosen after thorough consultation,
depending on whether you want to keep the previous crease line or create a new one.

Fixation at the Proper Depth, Angle, and Strength
Even when the crease height is designed the same, the depth, angle, and strength of fixation can create different shapes when the eyes are open.
HOW?
Fixation should be tied securely with a double knot while maintaining appropriate tension.

If a low crease has shallow fixation and a downward fixation angle, it may loosen over time.
If a high crease has deep fixation and an upward fixation angle, it may look pinched or become a sausage eyelid.
